A great game and love the way it moves from level to level as gives it a good flow. It looks a little rough in places like some of the art was a little rushed and some of the levels can get really frustrating but all in all a well made game. I'd like to see a bit more of a story line in it with some cutscenes here and there and although the difficulty build well to the end of each stage I'd have liked to see a boss or two, like the spider level. Ropes were good but a little annoying that you couldn't move up and down while swinging. Wil be looking out for what Crazy Apple 4 will have to offer.

Tupo26 responds:

Have you tried to climb a rope while swinging? IMPOSSIBRU! jk.
I'm not the best storyteller so expect my games to have a little story.
I'll start to make Crazy Apple 4 when I get fresh set of ideas.

I want to play more...

but level six is just too hard so have lost interest.

Art is great, in game and the menus. The game as a whole has some nice touches like the unlockable info about elements in it (just how does that electric come out of her mouth :D ) Really want to play more but with wave after wave after wave blocking the targets and an ammo count it just frustrating.

VictorGrunn responds:

Level six edited - that's the biggest complaint I'm seeing with the game so far, and it's on target. You should have seen what that level was like on the first iteration! It blocked out the sun.

Thanks much for the feedback and the compliments. Writing up the journal entries was fun (I originally had an ongoing story with each of the test unlocks, but removed them since I figured no one wants to feel like they have to read a paragraph each level), and I love what my art guy did with the ships and officer shots.

6 Done

Now going to round it off with breakfast at Milliways.

fexLabs responds:

Hahahah, I'm glad someone got the reference. ;D

Needs working on...

This needs some time spent on it

The controls are far too twichy and don't really give you a feel of moving character about. As such the fall speed is too high not letting you try and hover but more jurk up and down with little control. The collision detection also drives you mad as not touching anyting but as moving diagonally it will say I hit something and died. Some of the levels could also really use a safe spot to land and give you a rest be for moving on.

The Free Fly needs more to do in it... To be used as a practice, some other platforms to land on and some animated stuff to try and hit.

Graphics are ok but look like you only added the least you could to get the game up and running. A background would be nice and if it is an adventure where is the stoy to it... I had no idea why I was there or why I'd want to get out.

RubixCat responds:

I am making bonus games of this so I could do a practise one. Thanks for being a nicer then those other guys who gave me a score of 0 and 1. Seeming that it is my first game.

Good.... but

The game is good and nicely made but I also lost my game data. Not fun to work so hard on building up a good stock of stuff and stats only to lose it all.

bpointstudios responds:

Did you have enough space allocated for the Flash Player to store the data? Please check the notice under authors comments! Sorry about the lost progress, that's never fun :P

Working now :D

But was it really worth the wait...

RubberRepublic responds:

I hope so!

Superbly thought out

A well thought out game with great re-play potential. Graphically it is good and well above average if nothing stunning. I love the random aspect, it could be a little frustrating but it made me play over again to get the cards I needed. If it wasn't for the random element it would have been an all too short game. Used the tip once for the caterpillar as just didn't spot it but after that it was just a matter of thinking fiendishly :D

I look forward to number III if there is to be such a thing.

OzMafioso responds:

I appreciate the well written review! Glad you enjoy it and I'm sure a 3rd one will come about sometime! Thanks for playing :)

Good but the fun is over all too soon.

The AI is fiendishly accurate and can score for anywhere. A good game but the fun quickly runs out. If there is anyting that could use some work it is that the playing field is a little small.

ilMareGames responds:

yep, I have plans to make a bigger playfield with more players, but the gameplay will change a lot. I have to test several prototypes first =)

Love it :D

A great game and nicely made, could have been all too short but all the stuff to explore and the actions means I will be coming back to it. Best halloween themed game I have played so far.

Is it just me but did I spot The Groke and Stinky in there?!?!

The-Super-Flash-Bros responds:

Yes you did spot them and I love you for realising it <3

Needs More...

Needs in game instructions. Took me long enough to work out how to place units (as in drag from little window NOT from the one you click). The interface is not intuitive enough to have "Use mouse to click, drag and drop" as instructions.

As for the game as a TD

Graphics are ok if a little sub par when it comes to the towers getting hit. Hard to see what tower is shooting in what killzone. From what I see you can't upgrade the towers as you can in so many other TD games so you are stuck with that tower until it dies. the guns (I think that is what they are) on top of the little towers are fixed, also giving no idea of where they are shooting.

MacadamiaGames responds:

I agree, thanks for the feedback!
